What is double chin surgery?

Double chin surgery involves making a small incision of approximately 2 mm beneath the chin, through which a fine cannula is inserted to infiltrate a tumescent solution. This solution helps break down and dissolve fat cells (adipocytes) in the submental area and part of the neck.

A second cannula is then used to remove the fat in a controlled manner, resulting in firmer skin and a more defined profile.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, with no need for hospitalization.
